Each semester, ICC offers unpaid internships for college students and has ongoing partnerships with Liberty University and the Regent University School of Law.
These valuable internships give students an opportunity to serve and work alongside a global team, use their God-given communications, advocacy, and legal skills to relieve the suffering of believers and grow the body of Christ. Interns will join about 80 full- and part-time staff who serve Africa, the Middle East/North Africa, South Asia, Southeast Asia, and the West.

Communications Department
Job Description
The communications team at ICC shares engaging stories and information about Christian persecution that empower change, stir hearts, and prompt action to help followers of Christ and grow his church. The small team produces a monthly magazine, several reports, and shares information about ICC projects and persecution stories on social media and its website. The team also collects stories from staff in the regions about persecution incidents and posts daily news items at persecution.org.
Content Contributors
ICC welcomes interns, Content Contributors each semester. Interns work remotely and research persecution topics, and develop news items and content for country-specific reports.
Social media specialist
Student interns aid the communications team with social media posts each semester. The intern will work with staff to craft campaigns and messages for ICC’s social media platforms. The candidate can also check posts and engage with followers.

Advocacy Department
Job Description
The Advocacy team at ICC moves policy and decision-makers to act against foreign oppressors of Christians. The Advocacy staff and ICC Fellows supply government officials with comprehensive reports to help them make sound decisions as they draft legislation. Written reports also provide key officials with information to apply sanctions and punish foreign governments or entities that harm Christians. Advocacy also works side-by-side with the U.S. Department of State and other agencies on behalf of persecuted Christians and families. Advocacy petitions and letter-writing campaigns draw awareness to global persecution and add supporters to ICC.
Advocacy Associates
International Christian Concern welcomes two interns as Advocacy Associates each semester to work closely with our Advocacy Manager and Human Rights Counsel. While much of the work can be done remotely, the ideal student will live near our nation’s capital and have an opportunity to attend meetings and hearings on Capitol Hill and engage with groups that are active in International Religious Freedom (IRF) issues. The Advocacy Associate will contribute written reports, petitions, letters, and more.Law students with Regent University will help with confidential human rights investigations and submissions to the U.S. Department of State, and research individual cases.

Assistance Department
Job Description
The Assistance team gets critical humanitarian aid to persecuted Christians and their communities. Projects include supplying emergency aid to Christians after an attack, rebuilding and supporting communities through small businesses and communal farms, offering Christian education and training programs, supporting church planters, spreading the gospel, and much more.
Assistance Associates
ICC can host up to four interns each semester, each focusing on projects within one of our four geographic regions: Africa, MENA, Southeast Asia, and South Asia.
