Meet Shawn Wright
Shawn Wright serves as president of International Christian Concern (ICC), a global advocacy organization dedicated to defending the rights, dignity, and freedom of persecuted Christians worldwide. In this role, he leads ICC’s mission to raise awareness, provide aid, and advocate for those suffering for their faith, while strengthening partnerships that advance religious freedom around the globe.
Previously, Shawn served as president of PAK7 US, a Christian media initiative telling God’s story in Pakistan by Pakistanis. Previously, he served as vice president of Business Services and Advancement for Growing Leaders, Inc., a leadership organization equipping emerging generations to lead with character and purpose through education and ministry partnerships.
With experience spanning church missions, nonprofit leadership, and corporate settings — from Fortune 500 companies to small ministries — Shawn brings a unique blend of strategic, operational, and ministry leadership. Earlier in his career, he served as a regional director of development for Elam Ministries and as a U.S. Air Force instructor and facilitator.
He has also served on multiple boards, including Pars Theological Centre (US) and Gates of Heaven Ministry, both focused on Persian Christian outreach, and previously as Missions Director and Board Member for Roswell Assembly of God.
Shawn lives in Roswell, Georgia, with his wife Jean. The couple has five children and six grandchildren.
