Fulani Militants Kill 4 in Attacks in Rigwe Nation

02/12/2024 Nigeria (International Christian Concern) – On Sunday, Feb. 11, Fulani militants attacked the Nkienzha community in Miango District of Plateau state in Nigeria, killing three and injuring one other. During the attack, the rebels set a community room and kitchen on fire to further set back the village.  

The leadership of Rigwe nation described the resurgence of attacks and killings as callous and barbaric, and cautioned the perpetrators to immediately put a halt to the mayhem being unleashed in the land.  

“We equally call on the constituted authorities to do the needful in order to restore normalcy in the land so that we can continue our activities without hitches and glitches,” the leaderships reiterated.  

The Nkienzha attack occurred after another Rigwe young man was killed on Saturday, Feb. 10 at Teegbe village of Miango District as well as another car ambush on Friday, Feb. 9 where the vehicle was burned down with one person sustaining injury.
