Hope House is seeking to equip Basam for that better life his parents always dream of. By providing him with the basic educational tools at a young age, Basam will be prepared for a career ahead of him that is not working as a day laborer. He said to ICC, “I have learned reading, writing and the Bible stories. But my English level is weak.”
Basam still has work to do but his parents and Hope House teachers continue to support him. He dreams of becoming a police officer in the village, desiring to defend and protect all the Muslims and Christians in his community.
