02/09/2021 Kenya (International Christian Concern)In 2019, Mwanahamisi’s husband divorced her after she and her two children converted to Christianity. With her pastor’s support, she managed to purchase a plot of land, where she built a home for her family. In order to support Mwanahamisi through this difficult time, we provided her with seeds, fertilizer, insecticide, and other farming equipment so that she can begin farming sesame.

She said, “My husband chased us away because we trusted in Christ. At first, we felt that this was too much, but now we cannot compare the joy we have in Christ with living as slaves in Islam.”

She continued, “This farming project is a fresh start for me and my children… My farm is able to provide food and clothing for us and even pay for school fees and medical [care]. If all goes well, we shall not be village beggars anymore.”

Thank you for partnering with us to serve the persecuted!
