04/14/2020 Washington D.C. (International Christian Concern) – When ISIS swept into Qeraqosh in 2014, countless Christians were forced to flee, leaving their homes and livelihoods behind. Now that the threat of ISIS has diminished, Farah and his young family recently returned to Qeraqosh, hoping to rebuild.

However, as a laborer in his current position, his employer takes 50% of the income Farah earns. With another baby on the way, Farah hoped to establish his own car mechanic shop to support his growing family. Although he secured a location, he struggled to purchase the tools necessary to get his car mechanic business off the ground.

In order to support Farah’s new business, ICC purchased the tools necessary to get the shop up and running. Not only will this business support Farah and his family, but it will also continue to spark life back into Qeraqosh’s growing economy.
