ICC Supports Restaurant Rebuilding in Iraq

08/21/2019 Washington D.C. (International Christian Concern) – Nassim and Ameer are two friends who owned a restaurant together in Qaraqosh, Iraq. When ISIS attacked in 2014, they were forced to flee, and ended up in an internally displaced persons camp in Erbil. When they finally returned to Qaraqosh, they decided to open another restaurant. It has been operational for the past year, but wasn’t making a profit due to limited resources.
The restaurant is located in an optimal location and it could easily achieve more sales if it could provide more variety.
ICC purchased some basic equipment that would allow the restaurant to diversify its menu and bring in more sales, which will allow Nassim and Ameer to provide a steady income for their families.
