A radical Hindu leader in India has claimed that Muslims and Christians should be sterilized to limit their population growth in India. Many Hindu nationalists in India fear that Hindus could eventually lose the majority of the population and often use this claim to spread fear against Indian Muslims and Christians. Unfortunately, this is not the first time this “solution” to the growth of India’s religious minorities has been mentioned by a Hindu nationalist.

12/21/2015 India (India Times) – We have come to a point in time when nothing seems to be a surprise when it comes to the great people who run and rule the All India Hindu Mahasabha. Apart from being part of the #GharWapsi conundrum and time and again calling for a temple to be built for their alpha-martyr Nathuram Godse, they also help police catch beef-sellers; who are the most dangerous threat to our national identity.

Just when we thought that they could never outdo themselves, they beat us again.

This time a leader of the party said that Muslims and Christians must undergo sterilization to restrict their growing population which was posing a threat to Hindus.

Nope we didn’t make it up; come on even we can’t think of such ludicrous comments!

“The population of Muslims and Christians is growing day by day. To rein in this, Centre will have to impose emergency, and Muslims and Christians will have to be forced to undergo sterilization so that they can’t increase their numbers,” vice president of All India Hindu Mahasabha, Sadhvi Deva Thakur told reporters here.
