Church Demolition Continues in Wenzhou, China

We translated the article from Chinese to English and it discusses the continuing case of church demolition in Wenzhou city, China, after the demolishing of the 4,000 seat Sanjiang Church. Another two churches in Wenzhou city were completely destroyed on May 3rd and 5th. A local believer said “since the Sanjiang church was demolished, it has been easier for the local government to destroy other churches.”

上周六乐清柳市镇有一座位于山上的天主教堂也遭遇同样命运。乐清一位基督徒谭先生本周日告诉本协会记者，当地一建于山上林地地带的天主教堂被指是“违章建筑”，遭到强拆：“乐清天主堂也有拆的，乐清这边教堂是一个大老板建的，是乐清人明集团（音）大老板出资建的，建在山上林地上，说他没有批文，我们乐清林业的人被抓去了，教堂已经拆了”。
