Christian Families Affected by All Saints Church Bombing Receive Aid

On September 22, two suicide bombers attacked All Saints Church the Pakistani city of Peshawar. Over 130 Christians were killed in the blasts and over 150 were injured. The Christians of All Saints Church were exiting the church and gathering in a courtyard when the two suicide bombers attacked. According to reports, the Joyce Meyer Ministries has given each family affected by the blasts 15,000 Pakistani Rupees to help them through this Christmas season. Please pray for continued aid to poured out on this community.
12/20/2013 Pakistan (The News) – The Joyce Meyer Ministries, through its sub-organisation Hand of Hope, distributed Rs15000 cash to each victim family of the All Saints Church bombings for the upcoming Christmas preparation.
Addressing a function at the Peshawar Press Club on Thursday, Hope and Hand’s National Coordinator Dr Robin Asghar said that Rs15000 cash among each family of blasts’ victims and Rs2000 among the 30 widows were distributed.
He said that Hand of Hope is the mission’s arm of Joyce Meyer Ministries and its goal was to help as many victims as possible, to alleviate human suffering and to help Christians grow in their faith.
He said that they were providing treatment facilities to the six injured of the All Saints Church blasts, who are admitted in the Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) and Taxila hospitals.
