Middle East: expatriate fellowship meeting violently disrupted

Armed men stormed into a meeting of African and Asian Christians meeting at a private location in the Middle East. The believers were ushered to one side of the room while the armed men destroyed their property, stole a vehicle and threatened them with death if they dared meet again. The authorities have taken no action.
12/4/2012 Middle East (Middle East Concern)-A meeting on Sunday evening (2nd December) was interrupted by a group of armed men. They ordered all those present to gather at one end of the meeting place. They then destroyed the fellowship’s property, including musical instruments, sound equipment, and stole a church vehicle. The attackers informed those present that they would tolerate no non-Muslim worship, and warned that if they met again they would be killed. They confiscated Christian literature and mobile phones. On this occasion nobody was physically hurt.
The leaders submitted a complaint to the security authorities concerning the violence. However, the authorities have taken no action as the fellowship has no legal status.
