This photo was taken weeks after “Farzad” (not real name) was arrested and tortured after converting to Christianity. He was hung by his feet and whipped for refusing to name the people responsible for his conversion. Farzad has now fled the country and is still in need of your prayers.

History of Violence

The Islamic State West Africa Province (ISWAP) is a terrorist organization that emerged in 2016 after splitting from Boko Haram. It is affiliated with ISIS and operates primarily in Nigeria and the surrounding region, targeting both civilians and military forces.
