Orissa Orphanage: Gracy
A mob of radicals caught and beat Gracy’s father as her family attempted to flee the riots against Christians in Orissa in 2008. Her father died weeks later in a relief camp. Later, her mother left nine-year-old Gracy and her siblings with relatives and never returned. Click here to see a full picture on Flickr.
Gracy is one of the 15 children we’re caring for in our India orphanage who lost one or both of their family members in the Orissa attacks in 2008.
