This came to us from a ministry that is doing work in Kirkuk. Please pray for the believers in Kirkuk as well as the rest of the believers in Iraq. They are getting hammered and leaving in droves (those that can).
Urgent Prayer Request for Believers in Kirkuk, Iraq

A pastor in Kirkuk has just sent news that the city has come under intense persecution. His church members are escaping out of the country and the males of his church are actually hiding/sleeping in the church. The pastor has stated he may die there, under the attacks, but he is not willing to leave his family or his flock.

Another pastor has also reported that the extremists have blown up 3 of the 4 public schools that teach female children. They are trying to stop all females from being educated and as such have killed many children in the bombings there. This pastor has withdrawn his own girls from the schools to save their lives…it is terrible in Kirkuk right nowI have no doubt these attacks have come on the heels of a new outreach there-the enemy is stirred up.
