The U.S. Copts Association will hold a peaceful demonstration on Wednesday, April 19^th, 2006 on the White House sidewalk and in front of the Egyptian Embassy in Washington , D.C. to protest the recent terrorist attacks by Islamist extremists against Christian churchgoers in Alexandria , Egypt , the ensuing anti-Christian mob violence and property destruction, and the Egyptian government’s evasive response to the attacks.

The demonstration, which will comprise Coptic and non-Coptic protestors from several states around the U.S. and which will be led by U.S. Copts president Michael Meunier, will take place between 11:00 AM and 1:20 PM on the White House sidewalk and 1:40 PM to 2:30 PM at the Egyptian Embassy.
