09/09/2025 India (International Christian Concern) – When a church congregation and seven Christian families were brutally attacked because of their Christian faith in Chhattisgarh, India, last month, no major news outlet covered their story.

The violence left men and women bloodied, hospitalized, and threatened with losing their homes forever. Yet, outside their small village, the world would never have known.

But ICC was there.

Because of our staff and partners on the ground, we uncovered the truth: that believers in Chhattisgarh are being beaten, boycotted, and pressured to renounce their faith under India’s tightening anti-conversion laws.
