12/10/2023 Each year, it seems that there are more and more reasons to become jaded about the celebration of Christmas. Just flip on the TV or walk through nearly any store and you’ll see that the focus of the holiday season is misguided.
Rather, if we turn to Isaiah 9, we see that the Lord provides our true reason for joy during this season. We read about the hope that can only be found in the “Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, [and] Prince of Peace.”
May you find rest in the true meaning of Christmas this year as we celebrate the birth of the Prince of Peace.
