Blessed Are the Poor in Spirit
10/16/2022 Washington D.C. (International Christian Concern) – What does it truly mean to be blessed by God?
Many think of it as the material goods that we stumble upon in life or the happiness we get from people in our lives. But Jesus challenges our modern, even sometimes secular, views on what it means to be blessed.
Blessed are those who are broken, empty, and suffering. I share a personal story of a time in my life when I felt poor in spirit—a season of tremendous suffering but also a season of tremendous closeness to the Father.
