08/24/2020 Washington D.C. (International Christian Concern) – When Muslim herders in Kenya began grazing their livestock on Julius’s crops, he went to investigate. The herders then ordered him to recite the Islamic statement of faith. When Julius refused, the herders drew their knives and killed him on the spot.

Following his father’s passing a few years prior, Julius worked hard on his farm to support his mother and younger siblings. Upon Julius’s death, the family was overwhelmed with both grief and financial worries.

During this difficult time, ICC provided Julius’s family with food assistance, clothing, and three months of utility payments. This small gesture will allow the family to walk through their grief without wondering where their next meal will come from.
