02/28/2019 Washington D.C. (International Christian Concern) – Muslim-background believers (MBBs) fleeing Syria to Lebanon are left with few resources as they lack a sustainable livelihood. Pastor Muhammad, an MBB himself, was forced to flee Syria after converting to Christianity and now leads a Syrian church in Lebanon made up of roughly 500 members.

Most of the members are MBBs, and unable to afford the basic necessities of survival. ICC helped fund food packages for these refugees, alleviating the financial pressure facing these recently converted believers.

It is our prayer that this support will enable these new believers to thrive during their time in Lebanon and empower them to build the Church once they are able to safely return to Syria.
