ICC Supports Education and Vocational Training Through Hope House

11/19/2018 Washington D.C. (International Christian Concern) – A crucial aspect of ICC’s ministry is providing for the immediate needs of suffering believers, such as medical care and food. It is equally as important to address the root causes of persecution. In many persecuted communities, Christians are denied educational opportunities and relegated to low-paying, menial jobs. For these reasons, ICC created Hope House.
Hope House offers educational and vocational training to combat the underlying causes of persecution. The skills learned in these programs help students rise to the top of the employment pool, instead of being passed over because of their faith.
Participants learn essential life skills in an environment safe from discrimination. Your gift to the Hope House Fund allows us to:
- $60 – Provide educational materials to one child for a full year
- $100 – Sponsor the transportation of students to and from the center for 1 month
- $250 – Pay one teacher’s salary for an entire year
