06/14/2017 United States– Early this morning, a gunman opened fire on members of Congress, congressional staff, and Capitol Police at a baseball practice in Alexandria, Virginia just outside Washington D.C. ICC released the following statement regarding the attack.

“ICC is horrified by the shooting this morning in Alexandria. Our thoughts and prayers are with Congressman Scalise, the injured congressional staff, the Capitol Police and others who were harmed, as well as their friends and families. Congressman Scalise and his staff have worked with ICC in the past and we are grateful for his partnership in standing up for persecuted individuals around the world. May God grant healing and comfort in this difficult time.”
