Al-Shabaab launched deadly attack on Somali presidential palace

ICC Note: The militant group of Al-Shabaab launched another mortar attack against the presidential palace in Mogadishu, Somalia. This group of terrorists has carried out several attacks against the government and public entities in the past, like they did in 2015 when they assaulted and killed Christians students at Garissa University. Al-Shabaab’s mission is to carry out their jihad and impose their Sharia Law across the region
02/17/2017, Nigeria (Africa News) – Yet another attack from Al-Shabaab near Somalia’s presidential palace on Thursday as outgoing president Sheik Mohamoud handed over his responsibilities to president elect Mohammed Abdullahi.
At least two people were killed during the handover ceremony while three others including their parents have been wounded after the mortal shell landed on their house.
