ICC News:
Chinese government officials are becoming increasingly emboldened in their attacks against Christianity. On January 27th government officials wearing masks forced their way into a Christian church, locked church staff in the reception room and confiscated their phones, and began smashing the church with clubs. The church was left in ruins. Although oppression of Christianity is common in China, it is usually in the form of legal action based on fake charges or illegal detainment. This blatant attacking of church property by masked government officials is a new level of persecution perpetrated by the government and shows that officials are becoming more fearless in their attacks against Christians.

No one was allowed to enter the church, and authorities forbade pictures.
