ICC Note: Believers in Nigeria are confounded after Muslim Fulani fighters killed over 40 people during a brutal massacre in a Christian village. According to several witnesses, this is the second attack in the month of October where Christians are targeted by Fulani fighters as part of their jihad. The Fulani’s have been responsible for several other brutal attacks in the past where Christians are the main victims. They see Christians as infidels; therefore, they persecute them and try to take away their lands.

10/24/2016, Nigeria (CBN News) – Christians in a northern Nigerian town are still in shock after Muslim Fulani herdsman killed more than 40 believers. The attack happened three weeks after a similar assault occurred.

According to Morning Star News, residents in Godogodo, Nigeria said the herdsmen targeted Christians and burned down houses.

Rev. Thomas Akut of the Evangelical Church Winning All (ECWA) Good News Church told the publication that he and his family were able to escape, but more than 40 were killed.
