NEWS | Chibok Parents React to Boko Haram’s New Video
Chibok parents were angered by Boko Haram’s new video where their leader, Abubakar Shekau, says that if they want their girls back, they need to “bring back our brethren.” On previous videos released by the terrorist group, Shekau has demanded the release of their jailed fighters in exchange for the Chibok girls. Many of the parents feel mocked by the video and demand the government to release the Boko Haram fighters, so that they can release the girls.
