NEWS | Marking the 900th Days of Chibok Girls Captivity
On April 14th, 2015 a group of 276 female students were kidnapped in the town of Chibok in Borno State, Nigeria by the extremist group of Boko Haram. In August 2016, Boko Haram released a video with some of the girls holding babies in the back, to demand the release of their jailed fighters in exchange for the girls’ freedom.
