ICC currently sponsors 13 children who were trafficked; sold to Islamic training centers in Bangladesh. Corey Bailey had the chance to go visit the children, hear their stories and deliver small gifts to them. The children were eager to see her and walked shyly to her to shake her hand. They asked to take many pictures and stayed near her at all times. As the host was speaking to the children their eyes lit up as they spoke and gestured to Corey. The host smiled, turned to Corey and said, “They have been waiting to meet you. They were very worried they would be at school and miss your visit. They are very happy you are here because you have saved their lives. They are looking to you as their hero…” It was a moment for Corey, where the reality of the presence of God’s intervention through ICC really hit home.
