Regime controlled media confirms Christian arrests in cities of Shiraz and Kavar + latest news

On October 13, the Farsi Christian News Network (FCNN) reported that 40 Christians were arrested in Shiraz, Iran last month. In this update, FCNN claims their analysis was confirmed by reports in Iranian state media. State media condoned the arrests of the Christians for “having contact with the enemies of the Islamic Regime abroad” while charging them for “holding Christian services at their homes”. Several of the Christians have since been released.

These conduits of state sponsored propaganda announce the number of detainees at 40 and in addition to “having contact with the enemies of the Islamic Regime abroad”; charge them with crime of “holding Christian services at their homes”.
“Adian News”, an Internet mouthpiece of the Islamic regime; corroborates the arrests first published by FCNN (Farsi Christian News Network) of detention of 30 Christians in Shiraz.
It confirms the arrest of 40 Christian members of 4 House Churches in the cities of Shiraz and Kavar in southern province of Fars.
Farsi Christian News Network reported the arrests by agents of the Intelligence Ministry of the Islamic Republic, and their confinement in ministry’s own private prison compound, known locally as No 100.
Adian News’ report, which has been echoed in other regime controlled media outlets, puts the number of detainees at 40.
The Islamic Regime’s disinformation and propaganda outlets variously describe detainees as members of “Illegal House Churches, Underground Churches, and/or Secret Churches”.
Inspired by Qom’s Friday prayer Imam, Seyed Mohammed Saeedi’s June speech to the Organisation of Islamic Propaganda; Adian News asserts that “new converts to Christianity are pathetic, weak-willed, and vulnerable individuals, sexual deviants, drug addicts, prostitutes, dysfunctional families suffering financial and emotional difficulties, or mentally deficient; all specifically targeted by Zionist propaganda”.
Close to and acting as, the mouthpieces of the Islamic Ministry of Intelligence; “Adian News” and “Fars News” call the Christian detainees of Shiraz and Kavar “ agents of foreign based Zionist and Crusader propagandists, mortal enemies of the Holy Islamic Republic, in touch with Zionist Satellite Networks of Mohabat & Nejat”.
In its lengthy version, Adian News charges that the Christian satellite networks “Mohabat, Nejat, Sat7, Pars…” are tools of the Zionist enemy (presumably Israel), and puppets of western powers; created to lead the innocent and the gullible moslem away from the true path of Islamic salvation and (both) the earthly and heavenly paradise.
