Suspected members of the Nigeria’s Islamic radical group, Boko Haram, killed five people in an attack against Christians. We urge Nigeria to protect Christians from the on-going attacks by radical Muslims.

09/17/2012 Nigeria (Daily Times Nigeria)-Five persons were allegedly shot dead on Sunday in Zongo, Bauchi state when gunmen attacked some Christians a few minutes after 6 in the evening. Nine others were injured.
According to the Chairman, Youth Wing of Christian Association of Nigeria (YOWICAN) Bauchi State chapter, Simon Samuel, in a telephone interview, the gunmen were suspected to be members of Boko Haram.
“The gun men after firing on some Christians at Zongo killed five while nine sustained injuries.

When contacted, the Bauchi State Police spokesperson, Hassan Mohammed, said he was not aware of the incident.
