“The Great Shock”

After immigrating to France with her family, Emna (not real name), a woman from Tunisia, began watching an ICC partnered television broadcast that challenges the doctrine of Islam. At first Emna was upset over the overt challenges on her Muslim beliefs which she called “my great religion and the best prophet to mankind.” She viewed the television host and guests as liars. However, in every episode viewers were challenged to search for the truth on their own. Emna, offended by the host’s accusations against Islam, accepted the challenge. She researched many sources and eventually found what she calls “the great shock.” Emna said, “I was amazed to find that I could not prove the host wrong.” Emna decided to leave Islam and has since committed her life to Christ. She called to thank the program for saving many like her.

ICC supported satellite television and radio is sharing the love of Christ to Muslims throughout the world. In some countries, like Afghanistan and Saudi Arabia, Muslims have few other opportunities to hear the Gospel. Please pray that new believers like Emna are given discipleship and able to find a church body to fellowship and worship with.
