(ICC) – According to Gospel For Asia (GFA), several of their missionaries in Northern India were severely beaten. Afterward they “were tied to a sacred tree and received threats of death within 48 hours if unable to pay an exorbitant ransom.” Seventeen other GFA pastors came to their aid and begged the anti-Christian group to release the missionaries. While initially met with threats, the pastors observed that “the Lord supernaturally changed their enemies’ hearts,” and the missionaries were released.
