Pakistani Christian Murdered in His Home

(Jubilee Campaign) George Masih was recently gunned down by two assailants while asleep in his home. Masih, 35, was married with three children. Investigators from the Center for Legal Aid, Assistance, and Settlement (CLAAS) believe that George’s murder was in connection with the weekly prayer meetings held in his house. Details are still uncertain, but apparently Masih had an argument with a local lawyer the day of his murder. That lawyer was later detained by the police, and the family suspects that he knows the assailants. The police, however, are less than convinced.
