03/17/23 You’re likely familiar with the often-shared Bible story of Moses, the Ten Commandments, and the Israelites’ treacherous journey to freedom. Along the way, as Pharaoh’s heart hardened, the Lord sent a series of plagues against the Egyptians.

If you study the plagues closely, you’ll notice something fascinating. Many of the plagues were designed to show the Lord’s power over the false gods of Egypt. For example, highlighting the weakness of Egypt’s god of the Nile, God turned the river to blood.

Even today, God is intent on destroying the false idols in our lives, whether those be popularity, money, power, or something else. I encourage you to let Him work in your life to find true freedom.
