06/14/2022 China (International Christian Concern)ICC has reported previously on the imprisonment of Chinese house church preacher Geng Zejun, who was detained for the second time and ultimately arrested in January 2022.

Pansi Church, where Mr. Geng is a pastor, is a house church located in the Huinong district, Shizuishan. It was raided by Chinese authorities during its Sunday service on December 5, 2021. Mr. Geng was at first administratively detained, but then he was arrested the following month with the charge of “organizing illegal gatherings.”

Mr. Geng has been in the Shizuishan Detention Center for over six months. His wife, Hao Ying, published on social media last week that her husband’s trial will be held at the end of June.

Hao Ying has asked other Christians to pray for her husband and two other Christians, Luo Shiping and Wang Sufang, who were arrested with the same charges.
