11/05/2019 China (International Christian Concern) – According to China Aid, another Three-Self church in China’s Henan province has been demolished by the country’s communist regime.

In July, the Caiduzhen True Jesus Church, a Three-Self church, was subjected to harassment by government officials. The difficulties began when 60 officials broke into church building during worship session with about 200 members present.

The officials claimed that the church had illegally gathered funds and was an unlawful structure. The officials then demanded that the church be converted into a nursing home. According to China Aid, this demand was readily refused by all church members present.

After four days, approximately 1,000 government officials overran the church building at about 3:00 A.M. on July 26. The Christians present were forcibly removed and some minor injuries were sustained. The use of recording or photography devices was strictly prohibited to minimize media impact. The church building was then looted and torn down by officials as quickly as possible.
