Pastor’s Family Assaulted in Southern India

ICC Note: A group of Hindu radicals attacked a pastor and his family in Telangana, India. Two of the perps got injured as the family tried to defend themselves. The family did contact the police, but now they are being harassed by the police.

3/15/2018 India (Morning Star) – On a recent Monday at noon in southern India, a pastor’s family in Telangana state noticed motorcycles parked outside their church gate and a gang of young men loudly reading the church banner.

The banner of the church in Ramachandrapuram village, Karimngar District, included 2 Cor. 12:9, “My grace is sufficient for you” in Telugu, the language spoken in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, along with a name and phone number, the pastor told Morning Star News.

“We thought the youths had come to quench their thirst at the hand-pump,” Pastor Kolhapuri Lachaiah Moses said.
