“Then, something amazing happened.” Born with bent feet, Mai – a two-year-old Vietnamese – could not walk or even stand. Her parents, a young couple, brought their daughter into a children’s hospital, looking for a cure. However, none of the doctors was able to help. Despite their dejection, they continued visiting the hospital, hoping for a cure. While on their way to the hospital, the couple decided to stop at the home office of an indigenous ministry first. There, a trained pastor, along with several other Hmong pastors, prayed over the girl. By the next day, while waiting for their appointment at the hospital, Mai walked for the first time in her life.
02/15/2017 Vietnam (The Gospel Herald Church) – A young Vietnamese couple is rejoicing after their crippled 2-year-old daughter miraculously began walking thanks to the prayers of local missionaries.
According to a report from Christian Aid Mission, the couple, from Vietnam’s Central Highlands were on their way to a children’s hospital in Ho Chi Minh City to see if doctors could help her 2-year-old daughter to walk. Born with bent feet, Mai could not even stand, and doctors had been unable to help her.
While on their way to the hospital, the couple decided to stop first at the home office of an indigenous ministry in southern Vietnam’s principal city. There, a pastor trained by the native ministry prayed for Mai, along with several other Hmong pastors.
Then, something amazing happened.
The next day, while the husband, his wife and their daughter were at a children’s hospital waiting for their appointment, for the first time in Mai’s life she was able to walk about one meter with the help of her parents,” the pastor said. “They were so happy that God had begun to heal their daughter that they cancelled the appointment, took Mai back to the head office and asked us to continue to pray for her.”
