The Islamic terrorists continue to gain power and territory despite the claims that the government has made regarding the radical’s defeat. Boko Haram has cause havoc in Nigeria through their assassinations, bombings and abductions since their uprising. Additionally, part of their jihad is to overthrow the Nigerian government and force Christians out of the country in order to create an Islamic state.
02/13/2017, Nigeria (UPI) – A Boko Haram ambush in northeastern Nigeria killed seven army recruits and injured 20 more, with three soldiers missing, an army officer said.
A convoy of army trucks and buses, carrying about 250 troops, was traveling through Nigeria’s northeastern Borno state on Thursday when it was attacked by soldiers of the militant Islamist group. They added that one of the missing Nigerian army soldiers is a woman.
