ICC Note:

The only company in China that has been authorized to print Bibles, Amity Printing Company, celebrated its 150 millionth copy on the 8th of November, 2016. The company has printed Bibles in more than 100 languages and sent them to over 70 countries. The company was founded in 1988. Originally, many Chinese people could not afford the price of Bibles and some resorted to hand copying the text. Amity was able to bring the price down to about $1.45 per Bible, which has greatly expanded their production and helped spread the Gospel in China.
