Authorities Urged to Take Note as Christians’ Graveyard Flooded by Sewage

ICC Note: A Christian graveyard in the Raiwind district of Pakistan has been flooded by sewage, desecrating all the graves located there. According to reports, the local government spilled sewer water into the cemetery, causing the flooding that followed. The local Christians are complaining that the government has turned a blind eye to this problem, leaving them without a place to bury their dead. Christians face various terrible forms of persecution in Pakistan, treated as second-class citizens because of their identity with Christ.
