Divine Appointment with Wife of Imprisoned Pastor in Iran

In a world that so often seems to be filled with chaos, it’s amazing to see how God orchestrates the timing of events in wonderful ways.  In August, an appeals court in Tehran rejected the appeal of American Pastor Saeed Abedini, a U.S. citizen arrested for his Christian activities, and refused to reduce his 8-year prison sentence.  This was devastating news for his wife Nagmeh, and two children.

Without knowing anything about the appeal, ICC had sent a small package to support and encourage Pastor Saeed’s family. Nagmeh wrote to ICC that after hearing about the decision “I was heartbroken and was praying and fixing my eyes on Jesus. I decided to get back up again. Then I opened your package and could not stop crying. It came at a perfect time!”  God works in amazing ways to allow His church to show love and we’re so privileged to support our brothers and sisters even in the midst of hard situations.  Please keep Pastor Saeed’s family in prayer and continue to pray for his release.
