Two Churches Completely Burned Down in Koraput, Orissa

9/1/08 India (Evangelical Fellowship of India) – Orissa Missionary Movement Church in Ambaguda, Jeypore, Koraput burnt down completely between 2:00 to 3:00 am on September 1, 2008.

One Bible Mission Church was also burnt down completely between 2:00 to 3:00 am on September 1, 2008.

A Blessing Youth Mission (BYM) Pastor was beaten up and his bike was torched in Ramgiri, 50 km from Jeypore. BYM missionaries are hiding in the jungle.

Rev. Dr. Sang-Bok David Kim, Chairman and Rev. Dr. Richard Howell, General Secretary, of Asia Evangelical Alliance (AEA) have written to the Hon’ble President of India and Hon’ble Prime Minister seeking their personal intervention to protect Christians in Orissa.

Kindly write to the President of India expressing your concern.
