Evangelist church closed in Uzbekistan

ICC Note: Church closed because it “failed to comply with the declared goals.”

4/21/08 Uzbekistan, Tashkent (Interfax) – A Evangelist church managed by South Korean missionaries has been closed due to an order from the Samarkand regional justice department, a department source told Interfax.

The church’s registration certificate was repealed and the building was handed over to a Korean cultural center.
