Two pastors attacked in Orissa village

6/7/07 India (Persecution Update India) – Radical elements assaulted Pastor Kanstantino Pariccha and another Christian worker at Jamaguda in Gajapati district of Orissa as they were preparing to hold a prayer meeting in the village on 2 June 2007.

Pastor Paricha has more than a dozen lacerations and internal injuries.

They have been admitted in Chelligada Government Hospital with serious internal injuries.

The Pastors had arrived at Jamaguda village with bags and the radical elements against Christians alleged that they were out to convert people and started to beat them up with bamboo sticks.
